When you know, you know
Tom and Nicki’s wedding. 19th May 2018.
We are delighted to show our first wedding film.
On what was, at the time, the hottest day of the year, May 19th 2018, the nation was gripped in anticipation of 2 significant events. The FA Cup Final and of course, the wedding of the year.
Tom and Nicki have been together for 4 years and in the glorious Saturday afternoon sunshine, married against the backdrop of the charming St Margarets Church, Corse.
A delightful and emotional ceremony, with nerves on show and tears aplenty from both sides. Tom and Nicki were declared as husband and wife to rapturous applause. The happy couple exited the church and shared their joy with the guests.
A quick regroup then Tom and Nicki headed towards their wedding car greeted with cheering friends armed with great handfuls of confetti.
A short drive later to the sunny gardens of The Cheltenham Chase hotel, Tom and Nicki arrived to a glass of fizz, canapes and many happy exchanges with their loved ones.
Following their 3 course dinner, some heartfelt words (plus updates of the half time scores) exchanged by the father of the bride, best man and groom. Tom, in uncharacteristic style, showed everyone his softer side while expressing his fondness for his bride (strictly off script).
There is an enthusiasm for sport throughout the family, so as the reception room was turned around for the evening’s party, the guests broke away, some to catch the tail end of the football, the rest to enjoy a relaxing mingle in the early summer sun.
With the traditional family photos taken, the afternoon was a laid-back affair, all gearing up for the inevitable mayhem of the evening.
The first dance saw a truly romantic and dreamy moment with the couple warmly serenading each other. Fond kisses and smiles before they invited the guests to join in the party.
It was a wonderful day, for a delightful couple.
The two main elements to take away were the pure, evident love and the laughter they share together.
The warmest congratulations to a lovely couple. It was an honour to share in their special day with them.
