A Cotswold Barn Wedding film.
As a wedding videographer, I am given the most wonderful opportunity to share in a unique day in the lives of strangers. I get to experience and learn about my couples as the day unfolds.
One autumnal Sunday, Chris and Steph tied the knot in a lovely barn wedding at the glorious Barn at Upcote venue in Cheltenham.
Getting Ready
The day began at the Double Tree Hilton where the bridal party enjoyed a relaxing morning. Juliet was putting the finishing touches on the Bride’s makeup while the bridesmaids offered regular countdown updates.
Meanwhile, just 2 doors away, the groom paced nervously round his room. Once he was dressed, his groomsmen joined him to put his button hole. Once he tied his shoes, he was ready to go.
In a touching moment, the bride’s father, Mick was able to see his daughter in her wedding dress before they headed off to the Barn at Upcote in a vintage car from J2 Luxury Transport.
Ceremony
With guests waiting in the barn the bridal party made their entrance to the soothing notes of Joe Pike on the Piano. It was time for the ceremony. With vows and rings exchanged, Chris and Steph were announced as Mr and Mrs Brown.
The couple enjoyed a sparkling wine reception and canapes provided by Orchard Catering.
The guests assembled in the beautifully decorated barn for their reception. The newlyweds were announced to lively applause. It was time for the speeches. Some jokes and a few tears later, dinner was served.
As the sun set, we enjoyed a quiet walk round the grounds with Bigeye Photography. Chris and Steph laughed and joked the whole way round.
The evening entertainment was provided by The Chip Shop Boys. Once the cake was cut, Chris and Steph had their first dance together. The party was well underway
It was a wonderful occasion. The bride and groom clearly loved every second, laughing and smiling together all day.
Here’s the wedding highlight film we made.
Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Brown.
